Gurkha Khukuri

Nepalese Khukuri is a inwardly curved blade, use as both tool and as a weapon in Nepal and neighboring countries of South Asia. It is a main characteristic weapon of Nepalese Army, the royal gurkha of British Army. so it is also refer to the Gurkha blade or Gurkha Knife. Khukuri has is own traditional rituals value such as wedding.

Generally Khukuri size is 40 - 45 cm in overall length and 400-900 grams in weight. There are verities of Khukuri which have different history and value.

Our modern Khukuri are made by spring steel. Handels are usually made by hardwoods or Buffalo skin.
